The Cooperator

The July 2026 issue of The Cooperator is available now. News and features from Tennessee agriculture and the Co-op community include:

  • The cover story spotlights the Tennessee Beef Heifer Development Program that is located primarily at the University of Tennessee Middle Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center in Lewisburg. The story highlights the field day the program held on Thursday, May 21, in conjunction with its bred heifer sale on Friday, May 22.
  • Readers can also learn about Amy Winstead, a Co-op veteran, who has been selected to lead GreenPoint Ag, the joint venture company of which Tennessee Farmers Cooperative is a partial owner. Winstead will serve GreenPoint Ag as chief executive officer.
  • The subject of the In the Every Farmer Has A Story feature is Dr. Charles Lanning of Wilson County, a Lebanon cattle producer and physician who has made a career of bringing lives into the world.
